If Google is not crawling your pages, work through these checks in order:

  1. Robots.txt: make sure no Disallow rule blocks the pages.
  2. Noindex tags: check the page source or your SEO plugin for a noindex setting.
  3. Sitemap: submit your XML sitemap in Google Search Console and confirm the pages are listed in it.
  4. Internal links: pages with no links pointing to them are hard to discover. Link them from your homepage, menu or related posts.
  5. Site speed and errors: slow servers and 5xx errors reduce how much Google crawls.
  6. Authority: new sites get crawled less often. A few real backlinks help Google find and trust you.

Then use URL Inspection in Search Console to request indexing for your most important pages. Our free SEO tools include a sitemap generator and a robots.txt tester to help with the first steps.
