I published some new articles last week and they still aren’t showing in Google. What is a normal waiting time, and what can I do to speed it up?
For most sites, new pages are indexed anywhere from a few hours to a few weeks. Big, frequently updated sites get crawled faster; new or low-authority sites wait longer.
To speed it up: make sure the page is in your XML sitemap, link to it from your homepage or a popular post, use URL Inspection > Request indexing in Search Console, and submit it through IndexNow for Bing and Yandex. Most importantly, make the page genuinely useful. Thin or near-duplicate pages often stay in "Crawled - currently not indexed".
